Schedule your email

Every little bit helps when sending email communications.  Any small advantage you can use to get through the clutter and increase the likelihood of your email being opened will serve you well.

  • Monday is just not a good day to send email to anyone.
  • Do you want people to read your email at work?  If you are mailing to business clients (B2B), send your email between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
  • If you’re emailing consumers to their personal email accounts, try sending email when people are most likely to be checking their email accounts, generally between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
