Facebook Pages are more effective than Facebook Advertising
People use Facebook primarily to keep in touch with friends and family. But they also check out ocompanies and products on Facebook. That’s why businesses and organizations with Facebook Pages would do well to create interactions that are friend-like in nature.
In fact, market researchers find that people don’t really like advertising on Facebook, but they will become Fans of Pages. In a survey, three-quarters of respondents who were also mothers were fans of at least one company or brand, and more than 15% of those respondents followed more than 10 companies’ fan pages.
