12 Days of Marketing Communications. Day 2: YouTube Video


You know, because we produce quite a lot of video, some people think we are videographers.  We are not.

David and I use video as a tool to tell a story, but we are marketers.  Our background is in public  relations, marketing, advertising, and design.  The 250 YouTube videos we have produced for ourselves and for our clients are creative and affordable marketing vehicles designed to target specific markets with benefits-laden key messages and informative content.

See, I told you we were marketers!

Even though we are not technically videographers, we obtained 140,000 views on YouTube in 2010 for the videos we have produced.  And this does not count the views  from the videos that were uploaded to Facebook Pages and video podcasts, both of which also number in the many thousands.

Our clients have informed us that the videos we have produced for them have enhanced their images and raised their credibility.  They are getting more media interest, speaking engagements, clients, and sales.
