12 Days of Marketing Communications. Day 3: Facebook Pages
I have created 15 Facebook Pages, reaching nearly 1700 fans and their Facebook friends, for companies and nonprofits ranging from Howard University to a bank in Colorado to realtors in Falls Church to a restaurant in Hilton Head. I have also trained a dozen of my peers how to set up their own Facebook Pages and use them to engage with their followers.
I think one of the things that is so enticing about Facebook Pages is that the results you see are fairly rapid, and quite tangible. If you put an ad in the newspaper, how do you know how many people read and saw it? But if you post on your Facebook Page, you do know. And you get interactions; incredibly useful feedback when marketing your business.
