Work in PR? Better Invest in Some Sunglasses

Time to get some shades, PR specialists!

Because the future looks very bright for entry level PR specialists, even in this dismal economy.

Gil Rudawsky reported that annual spending on public relations services in the U.S. will increase to $8 billion by 2013, an increase of 55% since 2008.

According to Chris Kyle, public relations specialist is one of the hottest career options. U.S. News & World Report named it one of the best careers of 2011.

Chris Kyle also pointed out that the U.S. Department of Labor expects “to see a 24 % increase in employment opportunities through 2018.”
